ICON TX-L training program is designed for pilots with a land rating who want to expand their skills to include water operations. This program, which is part of the ICON Aircraft training curriculum, consists of 9 hours of flight training and 5 hours of ground theory. Upon completion, pilots will receive an endorsement in their logbook from a certified instructor, qualifying them to fly LSA (Light Sport Aircraft) Sea category aircraft. This includes not only the ICON A5 but also other seaplanes like the Seamax, SeaRay, and similar models.
